About Federico

Federico Jimenez was born in Oaxaco, Mexico in 1941 in the Mixtec Indian Community. In 1970 he and his wife took a trip to the Southwest and fell in love with the American Indian Culture. They later opened up galleries specializing in Antiques and Collectibles, carrying Folk Art from Mexico, Latin America and the Southwest. He is now the world’s leading authority on authenticating Native American jewelry for museums and private collectors
